To Submit to The Gallery of Fluid Motion, follow the instructions on their website: http://gfm.aps.org/ Note: Video deadline was October 6 and is Past.
The Gallery of Fluid Motion consists of posters and videos submitted by attendees illustrating the science — and very often also the beauty — of fluid motion. Both computational and experimental entries are encouraged. Poster and video entries must not duplicate one another.
A panel will select outstanding entries based on artistic value, scientific content, and originality. The winning entries will be published as a special supplement to Physics of Fluids. The top three winners in each category will be presented the Milton van Dyke Award, consisting of a small monetary prize, a copy of the Album of Fluid Motion, and an award certificate.
The contributions will be displayed in Hall D, Second Level, Convention Center. The award-winning entries will be announced on Monday, November 23rd during the afternoon refreshment break at 3:20pm.
